Today (15-10-1931) is the Birth remembrance of Dr.APJ. Abdul
Kalam. There may be special speech on him and May also be some activities going
on seriously about his works and his character. And especially wherever he
visited, there will be sure some programs, at least a silent prayers on him.
A question comes
to my mind -“Is it what he needed?”
Everyone is ready to speak on his greatness of being a kind
hearted teacher, well-wisher, scientist, innovator, role model, etc. Many guest
lectures, awards, roads, projects, scholarships, clubs, social servicing, creating
a good name (goodwill) through his name.
Again the question raises in my mind “Is it what he needed”
What to say about this community or the world which is being
diverted towards the media? Like a comedy we have in Tamil cinema in which
Actor Vivek says that “if something happens seriously and media projects the
same, people will speak about it for 3 days and again if media shows something
about a peppy heroine’s marriage, people will start speaking about it and
forgets the old news.”
Again the same thing comes to my mind “Is it what he needed”
I normally think about doing something unique that
everyone should follow. But what should I do? Will I be able to get the
attention of all kinds of people? Will the work gets a head-start through me as
a mediator? How many will be able to follow me? Will I get noticed through Media
Projections? Will the media get me to what I am trying to do? Or will it make
an opposite impact of what I actually wanted to do? What if I do that wrong?
These are the questions that I get in my mind to get started with any kind of
social servicing.
Again I needed the answer for the question “Is it
what he needed?”
Any number of new schemes may be introduced, any
number of new ideas get shared, any number of new games may get emerged, any
number of new films may be created, any number of shopping malls may be
constructed, and any number of luxury things may get into its play.
But again the same question comes -“Is it what he
needed?”
Smart cities may come, Smart scandals may happen,
Smart politicians may emerge, Smart phones may play, Smart vehicles may get its
role in India, Smartness in everything may happen. Is there Smart Classes
applied in every schools? Oh…OK then at least we have Smart Classes for in
every Colleges? Let it be….Do we have Smart Classes at least for Post Graduates
in every institutions?
Again the same question comes -“Is it what he
needed?”
Actually it is one of them he actually needed. He
believed in the powers of youth. Youth power is the most powerful force we have
in the world. India has the largest youth force when compared to all other
countries in the world. We have to get united and should work for the dreams
that he had in his life. And the priority for the same should be with “Revolution
within 2020”. Shall we set it up right within it?
